Isn’t that exactly what being liberated means?
It’s the freedom to do what is right for you, regardless of gender. Personally, I have all the respect in the world for stay at home mothers (and fathers). What they do is not easy, and they should be respected just as every other contributor to society.
A stay-at-home mom/dad is a nurse/therapist/personal assistant/teacher/activities coordinator/chauffeur and everything else that is needed.
There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with being a stay at home mother, if that’s what you really want to be doing. So long as you aren’t being coerced into the position, it’s not ’slapping feminism in the face’ or whatever else people say about it.
