What simple everyday things that when improved can make your life happier and/or easier?

Traffic lights that are timed correctly. Stores having enough cashiers to accommodate the number of customers. Friendly, capable waiters.

AC units improve comfort during the heat and can be frustrating. A good recording device for television might be a good improvement.

Cleaning of every sort.. whether it be dishes, Laundry, or whatever are mundane tasks that seem to take up a good part of everyday living.

As for shopping, I think it would be nice to find a good website that lists the TRUE qualities of an item instead of finding specialized sites that give answers that people generally do not need. for example, when buying a digital camera, there are some good “point and click” cameras, but if you do a search for the best cameras, you might get results that include best professional cameras, which has little revelance to what you need.
