Do You Have Candida?
If you’re reading this page, chances are you’re suffering with Candida. Perhaps you’ve been to your doctor, or many of them, trying to find answers to your chronic symptoms. You may have been told “nothing’s wrong” or may have been handed a prescription for one thing or another, but nothing seems to help. It’s been said that up to 70% of the general population suffers from Candida since it can be mistaken for a myriad of other illnesses.

Candida thrives in heat and humidity. No matter what symptoms you have at this time, they’ll worsen in hot, humid, or muggy weather. Since Candida is a fungus the humidty and heat help it to grow and spread. (My symptoms lessened considerably when I moved from Maryland to Arizona.)
Sugar, alcohol, and starches are Candida’s favorite foods. Symptoms usually worsen after consuming any of these since it feeds the yeast and helps it to grow. As the Candida grows and spreads, it releases more toxins into your body which produce stronger and more widespread symptoms.
Stress can trigger Candida symptoms. It’s common knowledge that stress plays a big role in many illnesses. It lowers the immune system and it can no longer fight off the Candida and keep it under control. Working too much, sleeping too little, and just being stressed in general worsen Candida symptoms since our weakened state allows the yeast to increase.
Common Symptoms of Candida:
- Craving for sugar, bread or alcohol.
- Prostitis or vaginitis.
- Diarrhea and/ or Constipation.
- Abdominal distention, bloating or pain.
- Gas or flatulence.
- Rectal itching or rash.
- Vaginal itch, burning or persistent infections.
- Kidney, bladder infections.
- Cystitis (inflammation of the bladder with possible infection).
- Sinus infections.
- Joint pain or swelling.
- Acne.
- Loss of sex drive.
- Impotence.
- Fatigue.
- Feeling drained.
- Memory loss.
- Feeling spaced out.
- Numbness, burning or tingling.
- Flu-like symptoms.
- Mood swings.
- Depression.
- Headaches.
- Heartburn.
- Indigestion.
- Painful intercourse.
- Food allergies or food reactions.
