Dating Advice For Guys – Are You Getting It On And Getting It Off?
The dating game is so much fun, unless it becomes a regular embarrassment and a frequent flop. Some guys just seem to get it right and others, well, they clearly need help. Some of my girlfriends think I shouldn’t write this stuff, it’s giving away our secrets, but frankly I’m writing dating advice for guys because the more guys who get it right the more attractive guys there are to go round!
If you’re not getting it on with the girls you date and getting it off later then you’re doing something wrong, but don’t worry, my dating advice for guys will put you on the right track, so here goes with a selection of helpful tips. She needs to get to know you and feel comfortable with you; if you take her to the cinema on a first date with no before or after then however much she enjoys the film she’s not going to have got to know you at all and that’s a barrier. The cinema is great, after you’ve had a few dates and got it on!
A meal out is a good obvious one, but just a drink may feel to her like less of a commitment if you’re actually trying to get that first date. It’s less expensive for you too and if you choose the right venue it has the possibility to get to know each other and move on to stage two, even on the first date itself. So choose somewhere quiet enough to talk and lively enough to have an atmosphere, somewhere with the possibility of food if she wants to make the date last and in a location with late night possibilities if it goes really well!
No one likes those uncomfortable silences that can sneak up on you. Ask her questions that require more than a yes or no answer and listen to what she has to say. Tuck the information away in your memory so you can demonstrate you were listening and keep your conversation relevant to what she’s interested in. All girls want to feel special, if you have nothing in common maybe she’s not the girl for you but if you do have interests in common then stay on safe ground in the early days, you may be able to introduce her to new things later.
Some obvious rules when considering dating advice for guys are: do be prompt, even early, leaving her hanging around will, at best, not make her feel special and at worst open the door for another guy, do be dressed appropriately given what you know about her already and be clean and smell nice (nothing over the top), do be confident and assertive, do be tactile (touch her arm, shoulder, hand, but don’t rush the intimacy).
The best dating advice for guys is to be natural, attentive, cheeky, fun and relaxed – take your time and be aware of the signals coming back from her, without imagining signals that aren’t there. OK it sounds complicated but, the more you relax the easier it gets and that comes with familiarity so, review these tips occasionally or read more and practice, practice, practice.
Best Dating Tips – Are Your Dates Smitten Or Stricken?
Dating is an art form fellas, girls may just wanna have fun, but how do you make sure they do have fun? The first date is a particular minefield, but my best dating tips apply to most dates, of course she’ll cut you some more slack if you’re in what tends to be described as a relationship and more still if she’s smitten with the big L but follow these tips generally if you don’t want to be struck off!
If it is a first date, make the meeting place somewhere, safe, public and easy for her to get to. You will not be late (commandment number one of best dating tips), but in case she’s early, most of us try to be fashionably late, just five minutes you understand, but given the vagaries of public transport, traffic and weather, make it somewhere inside and comfortable. It also wants to be somewhere quiet enough to talk and somewhere with atmosphere unless you’re moving straight on for some good reason.
Be clean, dressed for the occasion and smell nice (commandment number two of best dating tips), I’m not going to give you all of my ten commandments but these things are basic, you shouldn’t need to be told but so many guys do that I have to include them in my best dating tips. If you’re smart you’ll have found out about her before you asked her out and you’ll have asked her on a date that you know she’s going to enjoy. By the second date and onwards that should become easier because now you’re really getting to know the person.
Things she may enjoy range through, concerts and gigs, cinema, theatre, opera, ballet and eating out all of which can be expensive, so only ask out girls who in your eyes are worth it. However, there are inexpensive options and incidentally the first five options above don’t offer scope for extensive conversation unless there’s an interlude, so meet for a drink first or don’t use them as first date options.
Less expensive options are museums, art galleries, markets, and many more actually so long as you take care to find out what her interests are and you should show you’ve thought about it. That’s one of the very best dating tips in fact show her you put some thought into it scores you big points. Museums and galleries are available all the time but if there’s a special exhibition on something you know she’ll find interesting it tells her you’ve thought about it and it’s more special than going somewhere you could go at any time too. Markets, antique fairs anything like that is good so long as it’s an interest of hers and you’re not going to struggle around looking bored and with nothing to say. You don’t have to see eye to eye on everything but shared interests really do make a difference and don’t try to wing it.
In a nutshell the best dating tips are: very careful thought about the where and the what, demonstrate to her you really thought about her enjoyment, turn up on time, smart, clean, smelling nice, confident and smiling. Make her feel special, listen more than you talk, but don’t let the conversation stall, be tactile but not pushy and you can’t miss guys.
Easy Eco-Friendly Home Winterization Tips
With winter quickly gaining on us, thoughts naturally turn to how to economize on the heating bills for another year. Not everyone can afford to buy top of the line furnaces and windows. So how can the average family with very little money go green this winter and economize at the same time? The following are some of the best ways to get the most out of your heating when times are tight and the budget is small:
Bundle Up Indoors – There is no need to have the heater set on seventy degrees or above when there are practical ways to keep warm. You have the tools at your disposal and you can save a great deal of money simply by turning the thermostat down to sixty or sixty fives degrees at all times. This does not mean that you are cold, put on a pair of warm sweats and a sweater as well as socks and slippers. Have the children dress warmly inside as well. When sleeping, the temperature should never be set above sixty. You are already bundled up when in bed and your body temperatures lower so you do not need the added warmth.
Seal Doors and Windows – Make sure to check all the seals around the doors and windows for leaks. If you find any, purchase weather stripping at your local DIY store and seal them up. More money is lost when there is cold air blowing in from a leaky weather stripping. Use a thick towel or blanket and roll it up to put in front of any exterior door to insure that no cold air is blowing in from underneath it.
Let the Sunshine In – When the sun is shining, open all the curtains where it is shining at. This is one of the most eco friendly tips. It does not cost a thing to allow the suns warmth into the home. It is also good for those who get sad when the weather is consistently inclement. As soon as the sun is not shining any longer, close the curtains to help trap the warmth for a bit longer.
The above tips do not cost much and are completely eco friendly. In most cases, staying warm is free and does not require anything to be purchased. At best, the cost is nominal and the effect it has on your family and budget is realized over the length of a long cold winter.
Women Travellers to India – 7 Tips for Comfort
India is a fascinating country full of rich experiences. But the climate is harsh and can be hard to adjust to, especially for those from temperate regions. Here is some advice to help women travellers stay comfortable in the sub-continent.
Drink plenty of water
We have all heard this piece of advice and lots of people are super-careful about carrying water with them. But it is worth repeating because, especially in north India in May and June, you can dehydrate before you know what has hit you. Warning signs are that you may start to feel slightly flu-ish, or faint, or like bursting into tears for no reason. But you should also avoid over-compensating and drinking so much water that you wash all the salts out of your system. The sign that you have done this is that you will be running to the loo for a pee constantly. Eat some salt and you will restore the balance.
Insect bites
As well as a good insect repellent, you should always carry an anti-histamine cream so that you can treat mosquito bites instantly. This will make you more comfortable and stop you scratching the bites and making them sore.
Skin care in winter
In winter, especially in north India, the dry air pulls moisture from your skin at a rate you wouldn’t believe. Use plenty of moisturizer. If you are wearing sandals, put Vaseline on your feet or they will dry and crack.
Skin care in summer
In the monsoon it’s the other way round. You don’t need much moisturizer as your skin feels damp and clammy the whole time but you do have to be careful of fungal infections. Dry yourself very carefully, especially between the toes, and use one of the many types of talc that include an anti-fungal agent. You can buy over-the-counter creams to deal with fungal infections if you happen to get one. Gentian violet also works but can sting.
Clothing — dress like the locals
To be comfortable and cut down on sexual harassment, women travellers are strongly advised to invest in several salwar kameez or Punjabi suits. These are the tunic tops with baggy pants that are worn by women in north India. You can buy them ready made in shops or have them made by a local tailor. Make sure you get pure cotton. The duppatta (big wide scarf) that comes with the suit has a myriad uses. It can disguise your curves, cover your head when visiting religious places, act as a beach pareo or a clean sheet when required.
Fabrics
From April to October, unless you are in the hills, wear only breathable fabrics like cotton, linen or viscose. Some people scorn viscose but a couple of tops in this fabric can be very useful as they are cheap and wear and wash again and again. The trouble with viscose is that it is heavy and sometimes creases badly.
Underwear
In the wet season wear a pure cotton bra with no wires, metal hooks or thin straps. Knickers should also be pure cotton. Some people are plagued with a sweat rash where the bra rubs the skin and this can be treated with betamethasone valerate and neomycin cream.
Have a great trip!
Three Tips for a Graduates’ Successful Interview
1. Prepare enough information about the company
Before going to the company to have the interview, you’d better search for some information about the company on the website or in the newspaper. For instance, you need to be well aware of the job responsibilities and task description of your position so that it is easy for you to talk about the general condition of the work, make reasonable and sound evaluation about the job and provide your personal opinions about the position. If you were the interviewer, would not the interviewee’s behavior make a deep and good impression on you?
2. Leave a good impression on the interviewers
Time for an interview is limited. It may only last several minutes, however, it is necessary for you to leave a good first impression on the interviewers within these few minutes. You need to dress appropriately for the occasion, which does not mean you must wear very formal dresses. You cannot be late for the interview. You’d better arrive at the interview location 10 minutes before the expected time. According to this, interviewers will regard you that you do pay full attention to the interview, which will undoubtedly to add you more points for the position.
Don’t feel nervous but behave yourselves well during the course of interview. You should give solute to all the interviewers while entering the door. Then you should sit down naturally. You should keep in mind that every movement of you will be catched by the interviewers. According to your good and impressive behaviors and expressions, the interviewers will definitely take a shine to you.
Try to be a gentle listener while being questioned by the interviewers. Everybody wants to be respected by others, so do the interviewers. No matter what they ask or how long the question is, you should be patient to listen to the question so that you can give an appropriate answer to all the questions. Focus on each question asked by the interviewers. Remember to say thank you to the interviewers. Although it is not necessary to say thank you at the end of each question, it is crucial to say thank you to them at the end of the interview.
3. Be confident about yourselves while facing the interviewers
You should give appropriate self-introductions to the interviewers. It is not the right time to exaggerate yourselves or to humble yourselves, instead, you should be objective to judge yourselves to the interviewers and you can even give some examples to prove what you said.
Flirting Tips for Females: 5 Easy Tips to Make Him Notice You
Are you interested in dating this guy but are too shy to even approach him? How long must you wait before you can finally introduce yourself to him and eventually ask him out? Do you want to know some simple ways on how you can make him notice you without looking too desperate? If you are in such type of situation, then you are one of the many women who can only look at guys they like from afar.
Women sometimes find it hard to approach a guy. If you are the kind who has never done it before, then approaching a guy for the first must definitely be nerve-wracking. However there are several flirting tips for females that you can follow and they can include the following:
Tip #1: Be Natural, Be Yourself: As one of the effective flirting tips for females, if you want to be noticed by the guy you like then being just yourself is a great start. You can enhance the way you look and improve your personality but you do not have to change yourself 360 degrees such as one minute you’re Miss Demure and the next hour you’re sporting a persona of a Goth Girl. Be natural and be who you are.
Tip #2: Be Confident: Another example of flirting tips for females is to exude confidence. Guys notice girls who have that undeniable confidence in themselves. One’s confidence is seen in the way she moves, she talks, and the way she carries herself. If you want him to glance you way then its now time to step out of your shell.
Tip #3: Smile: Nothing beats this as one of the most effective flirting tips for females. A woman who always wears a friendly smile is sure to attract guys. Guys find girls who smile a lot approachable and would not hesitate to talk to her. If you want your guy to notice you, throw a smile at his direction and if he smiles back, then expect for more wonderful things to happen next.
Tip #4: Make an Effort to Look Nice: Flirting tips for females also include making an effort to look presentable and nice. You have to admit that most guys are drawn to pretty and sexy girls. If you are the jeans-and-shirt type of girl then you can try wearing a dress the next time you see him. If he takes a second glance at you it means that he really noticed you. Try to catch his stare and give him a smile.
Tip #5: Be Witty: You do not have to have a Ph.D. or an M.A. to catch his attention. As long as you know what you are talking about then you will surely catch his attention. Guys hate to admit it but they do like girls with good heads on their shoulders and not just some bimbos who hardly understand things and try so hard to be knowledgeable. As an example of flirting tips for females, this can definitely attract that someone you like.
Preparing For Your Maternity Photography Session
So you’re ready to capture the radiance and beauty of your pregnancy and pose for a maternity photo session. It’s already an exciting time in your life- anticipating the big day, getting baby’s room ready and preparing to become a mom, and your photos will capture this excitement and your beauty for all time. As a professional photographer, I’d like to offer some tips that you can use to prepare for your upcoming maternity shoot and ensure that you get the most from it.
Timing: I’ve found that the optimal time is between 30 and 36 weeks. With that being said, you may want to think about scheduling a shoot when your baby bump first appears and then doing a monthly follow up session so you can see how your pregnancy progresses. You don’t want to wait too long into your pregnancy to schedule and then not feel up to it or have baby show up a little early…timing’s everything and you won’t get another chance for a while.
Stretch marks: My advice is don’t worry about them. Your photographer will skillfully remove them from your photos should you wish. While most pregnant women get stretch marks, don’t fall victim to the ‘miracle cure’ industry and spend a lot of money on products that don’t deliver. Belly Oil is a great moisturizer, and by all means, I encourage everyone to moisturize, but it’s not going to eradicate stretch marks. However, Belly Oil and other products, many costing less, can keep your skin healthy and hydrated and that will enhance your photos. On that topic, also give some thoughts to any tattoos or birthmarks that you may want you photographer to remove from the final prints or to work around during the shoot.
Pre-Plan: Give some thought to the look that you’d like your session to have. Are you thinking of doing topless or tasteful nude shots? What about props, such as baby booties or stuffed animals, etc.? It’s a good idea to talk it over with you photographer beforehand and get his or her input. Are you open to doing some classic, artful black and white or sepia toned shots? Are you thinking of having your significant other involved? Having an idea of what you want to do with your maternity photos is key: will you use them as holiday cards? On yours and your significant other’s desk? Family-friendly or more private and intimate? A little thought and planning goes a long way.
Setting: Will you be doing the session at the photographer’s studio or in your home? Maybe you’d like to do an outdoor shoot. If you’re going to be shooting at the studio, make sure that you visit beforehand so you know what the setting will look like. One of the advantages of doing it at home is that you’re likely to feel more at ease and comfortable…just make sure that the area you plan to shoot in is uncluttered.
Clothing: Think about what you want to wear (or not wear, as the case may be.) One of your partner’s crisp white dress shirts can make for a classic shot. In general, choose clothing that you can move comfortable in and that makes you feel confidant and beautiful. Yoga pants, tank tops, lingerie, fabrics that feel good against your skin and cling to your curves are always good. If you’re thinking about doing topless or semi nude, avoid tight elastic sleeves or waistbands, including socks, hose or underwear, as they tend to leave marks that the camera will find. Also bring a robe or a comfortable wrap.
In addition: Keep in mind that moisturizers, such as Belly Oil are good, but on the day of the shoot try not to overdo it – lotions or moisturizing crmes can leave you too shiny. Also, when it comes to makeup, less is more – let your natural beauty shine through. A little lip gloss is good, but go easy on the cosmetics, and It’s never a bad idea to get a manicure and pedicure prior to your session, since your hands and feet may be featured in some shots.
With a little planning and preparation, you and your photographer will create some amazing, creative photos that you’ll treasure forever!
Dressing For Success For Your Sales Meeting
The way you look can greatly effect the way your client sees you, and it can even effect the way you feel. Making sure you’re well dressed, in fact, dressed for the occasion is one of the most important things in any sales meeting. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen someone not taken seriously, even though they’ve done a great presentation, just because they didn’t seem to fit into the environment they were trying to sell to.
Here are some keys to make sure you’re well dressed, and ready to do the best presentation you can muster:
1. Investigate the place you’re going to be going to before hand. This will give you a foot in the door before you even get there. Remember, first impressions count! So if you know what the other guys will be wearing, what style of clothes they wear at their work, or even what their uniforms are like you’ll have a greater chance of being “one of the guys” as soon as you show up. This is a great advantage if you’re looking to get recognised as someone who knows their stuff!
2. Dress neatly, even if the place you go is going to be dirty! This is a great angle, in fact, make sure you’re neat and tidy especially if you’re going somewhere you’ll be getting dirty. Not too neat, but wearing the same type of clothes so that you fit in, but ready to get your hands dirty and show the others that you’re able to compete in the same field. Great way to earn respect, especially on work sites, or to tradespeople.
3. Don’t over do it. Make sure not to out dress your interviewer, or the person you’re presenting to. You want to make sure you look good, but not too good! If you can find out in advance what the others will be wearing you’re off to a good start, but make sure that they are just a bit better than you so that they get to feel important. Try this if you’re feeling a bit smug on day and see if you can gain their confidence first before you do your presentation.
Keep in mind the job at hand when you do your presentation. The above tips will not give you a fail safe method of wearing the best thing to get the job, your presentation still needs to be spot on so focus on that too!
Dating Tip for Women – How to Get That Second Date
Are you going out on a date tonight? Is it your first date with some guy? Do you feel nervous and wanting to make that date a success? Your first date should go perfectly. This may sound like a pressure to you but you need to. The first date is the most crucial date. It’s when you try to impress a guy and make him think that you’re worth dating.
The biggest question is, do you have what it takes to make a lasting impression on your first date? Be it a blind date or a dinner invitation by your crush, you need to ace it. The first date is like taking an exam. You get jittery and nervous. But you need to keep your cool. Do not worry; cribbing these tips will help you.
Dating Tip for Women # 1 Wear something sexy but not provocative
The first thing that a guy notices in a woman is what she wears. You can wow him with your dress. You don’t have to wear a skimpy skirt that shows your buttocks. You don’t even have to wear a dress with a plunging neckline. You can wear something elegant with a hint of sexiness. The safest outfit you could wear is your little black dress. You will look stunning and sophisticated on that dress. However, if your date is not in some fancy restaurant, please wear something appropriate. If he asks you out for a movie, you can wear a casual dress. Don’t wear something too fancy. It would turn him off.
Dating Tip for Women # 2 Speak Up and Talk With Him Casually
You know, a guy will try to impress you with his jokes. That is some way for him to show off his personality. Laugh when he cracks up a joke. Tell him you dig his jokes and sense of humor. If he asks you where you want to eat, give a suggestion. Guys hate guessing where to eat. If he’s not up to it then you should present other options.
Dating Tip for Women # 3 Fix Your Dating Blunder
Not all dates are perfect. You may have done something that has ticked him off. What you need to do immediately is to apologize. Apologize for your mistake and say that you did it because you were too nervous. There will be a moment of silence and awkwardness, just act casual and don’t feel aloof.
Dating Tip for Women # 4 Get Touchy With Him
The reason as to why men don’t call back is because they think that you’re not into them. Break the barrier. You can feel his jacket. You can even cling on him. It will clearly imply that you’re into him. What is more is that, it increases his libido.
Dating Tip for Women # 5 Avoid the Awkward Good Bye
As you go home, try to break the monotony inside the car. Say a few things like thanking him for the wonderful date. You can subconsciously allure him to kiss you. Look at him straight in the eye and look at his lips after. This will give him a hint that you wanted to be kissed.
Hydrogen Conversion Kits – The Gas Assist of the Future
Are you like me in that you cringe every time you pass a gas station? The roller coaster ride that fuel prices have been on is scary. The really scary part is that the “lows” really aren’t that low anymore and the “highs” are budget-breaking. The prices of everything is rising, some of which are doing so because of this roller coast fuel ride we’re on, and all of us are suffering the pinch in our pocketbooks.
Prices are up on everything
I don’t know about you, but I haven’t seen an increase in my paycheck in well over a year but I am definitely seeing an increase in the cost of everything at the grocery store, in my electric bill, in water bill and the list goes on and on. It seems that everyone I know is watching their pennies so closely to try to keep the ends meeting – a task that gets harder every month.
Do you commute to work?
I also commute to my job, a trip of approximately 20 miles one way. This daily round trip of 40 miles adds up in terms of gasoline used to make those trips. In my attempts to cut costs, I am looking for ways to save money anywhere I can. Gasoline consumption is a huge expense for me and looking for a job closer to home just isn’t an option. What is the answer to this dilemma that so many of us have?
Is Hydrogen fuel the answer?
I have heard quite a lot lately about hydrogen being used as fuel for our gas burning vehicles. Lots of information is available on the internet about it and the ways it can be used by normal people in everyday life. It appears that the fully hydrogen fueled vehicle is years down the road but many mechanics and consumers report that partial hydrogen fuel is an option now.
How can my car burn hydrogen when it is a gas burner?
This is a question that has been bumping around in my mind, too. Apparently, gas burning engines can be converted by installing a hydrogen conversion kit quite inexpensively. These kits are fairly simple to put together and install. The parts needed for it are readily available at your local hardware store. If you’re even minimally mechanically inclined, they say the installation takes less than 30 minutes.
What can it save me?
The reports that I have seen range from 25% to over 100% increase in fuel efficiency, with the average being somewhere in the 50% to 60% range. It could basically cut your fuel dollars by at least one third at the pump.
I am thinking that hydrogen conversion kits definitely deserve further research and consideration. How do you feel about it?
